  • Arlington Heights, IL Autos of Chicago is seeking an experienced Parts Counter Person to join our growing dealership team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting technicians, service advisors, and body shop personnel with parts procurement while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely delivery of parts for repair orders. Responsibilities Assist technicians and service advisors with parts requests Source, order, receive, and stock automotive parts Maintain accurate inventory records and bin locations Work directly with OEM, aftermarket, and wholesale vendors Process parts returns, credits, and warranty claims Ensure all parts orders are properly documented and approved Monitor backorders and communicate updates to service staff Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation Maintain a clean and organized parts department Qualifications Previous automotive parts experience required Dealership experience preferred Knowledge of automotive systems and components Strong organizational and computer skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Experience with DealerTrack, DMS systems is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license required Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance available Career growth opportunities Full-time position About Us Autos of Chicago is one of the largest independent dealerships in Illinois, with over 500 vehicles in inventory and a full-service repair facility and body shop.
