Job Description

Job Summary Nickelson Industrial Service Inc. is seeking a dependable and organized Parts Person to support our fleet maintenance and shop operations. This position is responsible for ordering, picking up, and delivering parts needed for trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and shop repairs. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Order parts from local vendors and suppliers. Pick up and deliver parts to the shop and job sites as needed. Verify that all parts received are accurate and in good condition. Research and source parts for trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and shop equipment. Maintain organized records of purchases, receipts, and invoices. Communicate with mechanics and management regarding parts availability and delivery times. Return incorrect or defective parts when necessary. Keep the parts storage area organized and stocked. Operate company vehicles safely while making deliveries and pickups. Assist with inventory counts and maintain appropriate stock levels. Perform other shop and warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in automotive, heavy-duty truck, or equipment parts is preferred but not required. Basic computer skills and ability to learn parts ordering systems. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
