About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Warranty Administrator to join our fixed operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing, submitting, and reconciling warranty claims across our Hyundai, Genesis, and GM franchises. You'll work closely with service advisors, technicians, and manufacturer representatives to ensure accurate and timely claim submissions while maintaining compliance with OEM guidelines. Key Responsibilities Prepare, submit, and track warranty claims for Hyundai, Genesis, and General Motors (GM) in accordance with each manufacturer's policies and procedures Review repair orders for proper documentation including technician labor op codes, failure codes, parts usage, and complete concern/cause/correction narratives Audit claims prior to submission to identify and correct errors or missing information Monitor claim status and follow up on pending, rejected, or returned claims through OEM portals (Hyundai/Genesis DCS, GM's Global Warranty Management / GWM) Reconcile warranty receivables and ensure timely payment posting Coordinate with the parts department to verify warranty parts are tagged, retained, and returned per OEM requirements Maintain accurate records of all submitted claims and supporting documentation Stay current on warranty bulletins, policy updates, and TSBs issued by Hyundai, Genesis, and GM Assist in preparing for and participating in OEM warranty audits Communicate with factory representatives and field warranty reps as needed Support service advisors and technicians in understanding warranty coverage and documentation requirementsQualifications Required:
Prior experience in automotive warranty administration or a related dealership role (service advisor, parts, etc.) Working knowledge of at least one OEM warranty system Strong understanding of repair order documentation and warranty claim structure High attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies Proficiency with Dealer Management Systems Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work effectively with service, parts, and accounting departmentsPreferred:
Experience with Hyundai, Genesis, and/or GM warranty programs specifically Familiarity with labor op codes, failure codes, and OEM parts return procedures Prior experience with warranty audits or compliance reviewsCompensation & Benefits Salary:
