Pay based on experience About the Role Are you highly organized, great with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a motivated Automotive Parts Advisor to join our team! In this role, you will be the backbone of our parts department, assisting our service technicians and walk-in customers to ensure they get the exact parts and supplies they need. Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, you will play a crucial role in achieving monthly sales and gross forecasts, seeking out new parts business, and keeping our inventory running like a well-oiled machine.
Key Responsibilities Customer & Tech Support:
Assist service technicians by looking up parts needed for vehicle repairs. Provide excellent service to retail and wholesale customers.
Inventory & Order Management:
Track all incoming and outgoing parts. Locate and expedite parts when the dealership is out of stock. Aid in maintaining an accurate inventory.
Billing & Logistics:
Ensure all parts are billed correctly through the service department and handle parts payment collection.
Returns & Shipping:
Tag and return cores in a timely manner. Package and ship parts back to the manufacturer as needed, and determine which warranty parts need to be scrapped or returned.
Department Upkeep:
Keep accurate records, track special tools for the service department, and maintain a clean, tidy, and organized workspace.
Teamwork:
Work collaboratively as a team to keep the department running smoothly!
Qualifications Experience:
No prior experience is necessary, but 1 year of Parts Department or Sales experience is preferred . We are willing to train the right person!
License:
Valid Driver's License (Preferred).
Skills:
Strong communication skills, self-motivated, and strong analytical abilities.
Attributes:
Must be punctual, reliable, able to multi-task efficiently, and ready to work hard as part of a team.

$35,360.00 - $55,000.00 per year
