Job Description

Service Coordinator 1375 E Main St, Danville, IN 46122 Full-time Full-time Service Coordination Schedule and coordinate service appointments for tractors and equipment Communicate repair timelines, estimates, and updates to customers Open and close work orders accurately and in a timely manner Dispatch work to technicians and monitor job progress Ensure all service documentation is complete and properly filed Parts Coordination Identify, source, and order parts needed for service jobs Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts Assist customers at the parts counter as needed Customer Service Act as a primary point of contact for service and parts inquiries Provide clear communication regarding repairs, delays, and costs Resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner Build and maintain strong relationships with customers Operational Support Work closely with service technicians and parts staff to ensure efficiency Monitor workflow to minimize downtime and maximize productivity Assist with warranty claims and documentation when applicable Support overall dealership operations and team collaboration Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred) Experience in a dealership, agriculture, automotive, or heavy equipment environment preferred Knowledge of tractors, agricultural equipment, or mechanical systems is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Basic computer skills (dealership management systems experience preferred) Key Skills Time management and scheduling Problem-solving and attention to detail Inventory and parts knowledge Customer relationship management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Work Environment Combination of office, shop, and parts counter environment May require occasional lifting of parts and equipment Standard dealership business hours with potential seasonal overtime Compensation & Benefits (optional section) Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan options
