Role Description This is an outside sales Industrial Paint Equipment and Parts Sales role. The position involves supporting customers with paint and coating equipment needs, including identifying appropriate equipment and parts, preparing quotes, and processing sales orders. The role includes building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers through phone, email, and in-person visits, ensuring timely follow-up and a high level of customer satisfaction. The team member will collaborate with service and technical staff to understand equipment capabilities, assist with basic troubleshooting guidance, and coordinate service or maintenance when needed. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining product knowledge, managing inventory-related inquiries, and updating the CRM or related systems with accurate sales and customer information. Qualifications Knowledge of industrial painting/finishing equipment and parts Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance skills to understand system requirements and support customers with maintenance-related questions. Heavy Equipment familiarity to effectively discuss industrial coating systems, components, and operational considerations with customers. Customer Satisfaction focus, with strong relationship-building and follow-up skills to ensure a positive customer experience and repeat business. Troubleshooting ability to help identify basic equipment issues, recommend parts or service, and coordinate with technical teams as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language. Sales or account management experience in industrial equipment, coatings, manufacturing, or a related field preferred. Comfort using computers and software tools (e.g., CRM systems, email, basic office applications) to manage quotes, orders, and customer data. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or experience in coatings, manufacturing, or mechanical systems is a plus. Ability to travel and visit customer locations, and handle light physical tasks related to equipment and parts.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
