COUNTER PARTS PERSON FOR A COMMERCIAL TRAILER COMPANY

Cleveland OH Interstate Utility Trailer was established in 1975 and has become one of the largest semi-trailer dealerships in North America. Our Indianapolis IN location is looking for a counter parts person. Do you have experience working with truck or trailer parts? Do you have that outgoing, detail oriented personality that loves helping customer ? Come join a winning team in our Parts Department.

Responsibilities:

Greeting Customers promptly and courteously Properly identify needed items using internet and parts catalogs Suggest additional parts and accessories for purchase Pulling in stock items from inventory Ensure that all parts are picked up or delivered on time Completing all required documents before disbursing parts Enter all necessary information into inventory control system Provide updated information for stock orders Return all unsold merchandise back to stock Check in parts, match packing list to orders Put away received parts in proper bins/location Taking customer trailer part orders both at the counter and on the telephone and placing those orders in our parts inventory system. Stocking and re-stocking parts inventory in our parts warehouse. Conducting periodic parts cycle counts to reconcile in-stock inventory

Qualifications:

Customer Service Oriented Good written and oral communication skills Strong listening skills Data Entry skills Attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

Sitting, Standing, Stooping/Kneeling for extended amounts of time.
