Job Description

The Maintenance Systems Technician aka Manufacturing Parts Clerk is responsible for maintaining the supply crib in the facility. This role will ensure that maintenance supplies and cribs are in proper order. This will include responsibility for 5S improvement and sustainability of the maintenance area and all maintenance cribs throughout facilities. This role will be responsible for working with vendors keep supplies in stock. Additional system work in CMMS software will be assigned on request.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Crib Organization:
Maintain the maintenance crib, including parts and tool inventory, ensuring appropriate stock levels and proper organization for quick access.
Establish Min Max:
Establish proper inventory levels by part # and label to ensure easy management of the parts. Manage parts
Inventory:
Use CMMS system to ensure accurate inventory of spare parts
Contractor Liaison:
Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and projects.
Preset Area Support:
Maintain preset area, including bottling spears, and ensure jobs are pre-staged for operations to reduce downtime and improve changeover efficiency.
SKILLS & PROFICIENCIES
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces as needed. Ability to work on ladders, elevated platforms, and in varying environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor). Willingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, facilities, or industrial environment. Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) preferred. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong safety mindset and commitment to regulatory compliance
