Job Description

Portland Volvo Automotive Parts Counter Person We are looking for a full-time parts counter person.
Responsibilities include:
Looking up parts in the electronic parts catalog and selling parts to all customers, including retail, wholesale, and service technicians. Assist with keeping the parts department clean and well organized. Participate in all training programs that are made available. Assist with parts inventory procedures; stocking and receiving. Our candidate must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere. Problems arise from time to time, critical thinking and implementing solutions will be necessary. The best candidate, must have a positive attitude and work well with others. Should have a good knowledge of automobiles (previous automotive parts experience preferred) and the ability to lift 50+ pounds. Basic computer skills, customer service skills, and excellent communication skills are essential. This is a great opportunity for someone new looking for a career in the automotive field. Prior automotive technicians, this a great way to still be part of the service team and share your knowledge. We're interested in helping your career and adding to your resume because we know that happy employees lead to happier customers! Annual starting pay with bonuses $60,000. Up to $3000 Sign-on BONUS based on experience. Weekly salary determined based on experience. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license with a good driving record Previous automotive experience is necessary
