In this role, you will oversee the accurate tracking, sourcing, and replenishment of parts essential for automotive repair, manufacturing, and dealership operations. Your expertise will ensure seamless supply chain management, efficient warehouse operations, and exceptional customer service. Join us to play a vital role in maintaining the flow of high-quality automotive parts that keep vehicles on the road and repair shops running smoothly. Duties Maintain accurate inventory levels through diligent data entry and inventory control procedures using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and order management software. Manage procurement processes by sourcing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, negotiating with suppliers, and overseeing purchasing activities to secure competitive pricing. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipping and receiving of automotive parts, including managing warehouse storage, shipping schedules, and inventory rotation. Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge and vehicle systems understanding to identify parts requirements for repairs or manufacturing needs. Conduct regular stock audits, demand planning, and demand forecasting to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Manage supplier relationships by evaluating supplier performance, resolving procurement issues, and ensuring quality standards are met. Support automotive service teams by providing parts sourcing expertise, assisting with order management system entries, and ensuring quick turnaround times for customer requests. Requirements Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement management, or inventory control within the automotive or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, OEM standards, and vehicle systems. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in automotive diagnostics or auto body repair is highly desirable. Excellent negotiation skills with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry, inventory management, and demand planning. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and external partners. Knowledge of logistics inventory management practices including shipping & receiving procedures. Ability to work in fast-paced environments requiring multitasking and problem-solving skills.
