Service Parts & Materials Associate

Goyette Mechanical is currently seeking a full time Parts and Materials Associate. We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable team member to support our service operations. In this role, you'll order and track parts, manage inventory, assist walk-in customers, and handle warranty processing. This position is hands-on and active, requiring organization, problem-solving, and the ability to lift and move materials throughout the day. 1. Locate, price, and order parts and materials for service jobs and general stock from various vendors 2. Register sales for walk-in customers 3. Track and catalogue stock inventory quantities 4. Verify, process, and file warranty claims

POSITION PHYSICAL DEMANDS

1. 70% of day is a combination of standing and walking. Occasional need to climb stairs 2. Moving (loading, unloading, carrying, etc.) parts requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Average weight of parts is 40 pounds. 3. Exposure to extreme heat or cold varies by season. Personal protection is required.

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS

1. Understand the inventory/parts requisition, recording and reporting procedures. 2. Understand the basic inventory support delivery procedures. 3. Must understand how the inventory control function impacts profitability and customer satisfaction. 4. Must have excellent organizational skills for planning and coordinating the various inventory and delivery tasking functions.

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE

1. Experience in HVACR, Plumbing, or electrical industries preferred but not required 2. Experience ordering repair parts preferred but not required 3. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite 4.
