Job Description

Burt Lake Marina is a full-service powersports dealership in Northern Michigan currently hiring a full time parts person. Experience is beneficial but not required. Every employee at Burt Lake Marina is absolutely critical to our success. We have successfully served the northern Michigan community for over 50 years, and we take great pride in our reputation. Our rapid growth and fast-paced environment make this an awesome place to work! Happy employees make happy customers, and we reward individuals who are ready to work hard and stay motivated. The right candidate will have a customer service background that includes strong computer & communication skills. Successful candidates will be self-motivated and accustomed to working in a team-oriented environment. This is a full-time position with overtime during our busiest seasons. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday, 8:30 am - 2:00 pm.

  • Assisting walk-in and telephone customers
  • Quoting, invoicing, and processing of payments Shipping and receiving of parts
  • Fulfilling Service Department parts requests
  • Placing orders with parts suppliers
  • Shipping and receiving of parts orders
  • Perform physical inventory counts
  • General utilization of a computer-based parts lookup system.
Assist Service Advisors with parts fulfillment for orders and repair order write-up.
Qualifications and requirements:
High school diploma or GED is required
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and a high level of integrity
