Parts Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Supervisor(s) to join our team. The Parts Supervisor(s) will be responsible for overseeing aspects of the parts department, including inventory management, order processing, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semi truck and trailer parts and experience in the automotive service industry. Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies, also eliminating non-moving inventory
• Process orders and contact customers when orders are ready for pick-up
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels and negotiate pricing, price check products with other suppliers to ensure we are getting the best pricing for our products
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize parts department operations
• Ensure the correct parts are being ordered for what is needed, also looking ahead at upcoming jobs and making sure that the needed parts are ordered and in stock
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and inventory levels, making sure the parts being taken from the parts department are being billed out when they are taken
• Keeping a clean and organized parts room so items are easily found and put in a dedicated location Experience
• Proven experience in parts management
• Parts knowledge for the industry we specialize in
• Familiarity with automotive service industry
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Experience in procurement management and supplier relationship management
