Job Description

Position Summary:
The Parts to Service Associate plays a key role in supporting the service department by ensuring technicians have the correct marine parts, supplies, and equipment when needed. This position acts as the link between the parts inventory and service operations, helping maintain efficiency, accuracy, and timely repairs for boats and marine equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Pull, stage, and deliver parts to service technicians based on work orders Maintain organized and accurate parts inventory, including marine-specific components Assist with receiving, labeling, and stocking incoming parts and supplies Verify part numbers and ensure correct items are issued for each job Communicate with service advisors and technicians regarding parts availability and delays Process returns, core credits, and warranty parts as needed Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits Support parts ordering when inventory levels are low Ensure timely movement of parts to avoid delays in service completion
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in parts, warehouse, or marine industry preferred Basic knowledge of marine engines, components, and boating systems is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills Basic computer skills for inventory systems Ability to lift 50+ lbs and be on feet for extended periods
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with outboard/inboard engines and marine parts Experience with inventory or dealership management systems Mechanical aptitude
Work Environment:
Combination of warehouse and shop environment Exposure to marine equipment, fluids, and varying weather conditions
