Job description:
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spares and Service Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement, inventory, and distribution of spare parts, as well as services business with our customers.
Responsibilities:
Traveling and engaging with different customer plant teams in North America to develop and manage the Spares and Services business to meet or exceed yearly revenue targets Coordinate the distribution of spare parts to our customers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery Coordinate with internal service support teams to execute service orders Maintain detailed records of all spare parts transactions, service, and support activities including equipment performance data and customer feedback Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and global intra-company teams to secure the best possible pricing and delivery times for spare parts Develop good relationships with key customer personnel at all levels of plant, engineering, purchasing, and within accounts and establish Client as a sustaining resource for spares and services
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial equipment industry 30% travel - local Valid driver's license and mode of transportation Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex issues Proficient in the use of inventory management software and other relevant tools. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards
Education:
Associate or bachelor's degree
