Job Description
Job Description Sell new and used equipment and parts while maintaining existing customer relations and establishing new ones.
Responsibilities:
- Contact and visit potential customers to demonstrate new products, explain features, solicit orders, and provide product samples or catalogs.
- Address customer questions and concerns about products, prices, availability, and returns.
- Recommend products to customers based on the customers' needs and budget.
- Prepare and present quoted prices, credit or payment terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Provide customers with drawings, estimates, and bids that meet their specific needs and requirements.
- Identify and pursue prospective customers by utilizing business directories, following leads, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
- Arrange delivery and installations of products.
- Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors.
- Participate in yearly pricing discussions and strategies.
- Other duties as assigned Requirements
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelors' degree in business or marketing preferred.
- Knowledge of agricultural and farming practices.
- Knowledge of Center Pivot equipment Preferred.
- Basic business and math skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft office programs.
