Job Description

Job Description Sell new and used equipment and parts while maintaining existing customer relations and establishing new ones.
Responsibilities:
  • Contact and visit potential customers to demonstrate new products, explain features, solicit orders, and provide product samples or catalogs.
  • Address customer questions and concerns about products, prices, availability, and returns.
  • Recommend products to customers based on the customers' needs and budget.
  • Prepare and present quoted prices, credit or payment terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Provide customers with drawings, estimates, and bids that meet their specific needs and requirements.
  • Identify and pursue prospective customers by utilizing business directories, following leads, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.
  • Arrange delivery and installations of products.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors.
  • Participate in yearly pricing discussions and strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned Requirements
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelors' degree in business or marketing preferred.
  • Knowledge of agricultural and farming practices.
  • Knowledge of Center Pivot equipment Preferred.
  • Basic business and math skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office programs.
