$17 - $18  Job Description Parts Processing personnel are responsible for using industrial cleaning products, small power tools, and hand tools to clean and restore component parts used in sub-assemblies of process control instrumentation and control valves. Responsibilities Prepare parts for refinishing. Inspect the parts to determine if they can be remanufactured. Replace inferior or defective parts. Clean and restore parts to a 'like new' condition. Report production problems to supervisors. Disassemble process control instrumentation and valves using small power tools and hand tools. Identify, containerize, and route constituent parts properly. Follow directions for proper disassembly of parts. Use disassembly techniques/tools to ensure minimal material loss. Handle materials properly to avoid damage. Identify critical components in each product series. Ensure all components are properly identified and labeled post-disassembly. Utilize automated inventory control system. Maintain warehouse organization and manage space efficiently. Purge and liquidate excess or obsolete inventory. Other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Proficiency with hand and power tools. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to read and follow blueprints. Experience with mechanical assembly. Proficiency in production processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic mechanical skills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Earth City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
