Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Parts Specialist and become a vital link in delivering exceptional Powersports service and customer satisfaction. In this energetic role, you will manage inventory, assist customers with their parts needs, and ensure seamless operations within our dealership and service center. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly and customers happy, all while fostering a positive and efficient work environment. Duties Provide expert assistance to customers by identifying their parts needs through effective communication and product knowledge. Manage inventory control, including stocking, organizing, and maintaining parts stock using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) software. Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash and credit card payments, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with the service teams to fulfill parts orders promptly, ensuring timely vehicle maintenance and repairs. Utilize diagnostics knowledge to identify suitable parts for various vehicle makes and models. Negotiate pricing and availability with suppliers or vendors to secure the best deals for the dealership. Maintain organized records of orders, returns, and inventory levels; perform regular stock audits to prevent shortages or overstocking. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating strong communication skills and professionalism. Support marketing efforts by promoting parts specials or promotions to customers, enhancing retail sales opportunities. Ensure compliance with safety standards during stocking, maintenance, and inventory management activities. Experience Proven experience in parts sales or dealership environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of diagnostics, repair processes, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Demonstrated ability in inventory management, stock control, and order fulfillment using systems like CMMS or similar software. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with retail math proficiency to maximize sales margins. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales processes is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills with phone etiquette expertise to provide outstanding customer service.
