Join a close-knit dealership team where customer service matters and no two days are exactly the same. This hands-on position combines customer support, parts ordering, inventory accuracy, and day-to-day dealership assistance. Previous industry experience is helpful, but we are prepared to train the right person.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Welcome customers, answer incoming calls, and direct questions to the appropriate department.
- Use electronic parts diagrams and catalogues to identify the correct parts for customer and dealership needs.
- Prepare quotes, place parts orders, provide status updates, and contact customers when orders arrive.
- Receive shipments, verify contents against packing documents, and stock shelves accurately.
- Maintain current bin locations, inventory quantities, and organized parts storage areas.
- Support cycle counts, larger inventory counts, and research negative or inaccurate quantities.
- Create manufacturer or supplier support cases when part-number or order assistance is required.
- Process payments for parts and, when needed, service invoices; open and close the cash drawer.
- Work closely with the Parts Manager and support the parts, service, and sales teams as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of accountability.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, including comfort speaking with customers throughout the day.
- Excellent attention to detail when working with part numbers, quantities, pricing, and payments.
- The ability and willingness to learn new products, systems, parts diagrams, and technical information.
- Sound judgment, independent thinking, and the ability to solve routine problems without constant supervision.
- A team-first attitude and a collaborative mindset and clear, respectful communication are important to success in this role.
- Previous automotive, powersports, retail parts, inventory, or dealership experience is an asset, but not required.
