Job Description

PARTS SPECIALIST!
In this dynamic role, you get the opportunity to deliver an exceptional customer experience to both internal and external customers sourcing parts for their equipment repair needs! Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional service to customers, over the phone, via the internet, or face-to-face, with their equipment parts purchases Communicate with vendors to order and purchase parts as requested by customers, verify part numbers using the appropriate catalogs, and prepare purchase requests accordingly Load and unload freight using a forklift and complying with all applicable safety measures for usage Proactively communicate with internal and external customers with parts on order, providing regular status updates Receive customer payments for parts transactions and balance the parts cash drawer Verify all incoming parts inventory against invoices, then stocking supplies in appropriate bins Maintain a pending file of purchase orders Code invoices for accounts payable Accurately maintain parts inventory Learn and maintain a thorough understanding of models, features, and benefits of all products Maintain certifications required by various vendors, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and market information using current knowledge of products, parts, and designs required or available for purchase Ensure work area is kept clean and in an orderly fashion Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Experience High school diploma or GED 2+ years' experience working in a dealership environment preferred Exceptional customer service skills are a must Self-motivated with ability to work independently and under little to no direct supervision Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills necessary Actively listening ability extremely important Functional knowledge of computers, phone systems, and general office equipment required Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, email, Internet required Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills Keen eye for detail, quality, and efficiency Highly adaptable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Maintain positive disposition, adhere to company core values, and show considerate, respectful behavior towards all employees and customers
