Job Overview Mechanical Sales, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused Aftermarket Parts Specialist to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping customers, and building lasting relationships - someone who naturally goes above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. They enjoy paying attention to details, and ensuring customers receive the right parts quickly and accurately. No HVAC experience? No problem. Candidates with automotive parts, heavy equipment, industrial, or similar parts experience are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Assist customers in identifying and ordering replacement parts for commercial HVAC equipment Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person with professionalism and urgency Research parts using manufacturer catalogs, diagrams, and technical resources Prepare accurate quotes and process customer orders Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to determine pricing, availability, and lead times Follow up with customers on open orders and provide status updates Work closely with the service and sales teams to support customer needs Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including pulling orders Maintain accurate customer and order records Resolve customer concerns with a positive, solution-oriented attitude Continuously learn new products and manufacturer offerings Maintain regular and reliable attendance and be able to work overtime when business needs require Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in automotive parts, industrial parts, equipment parts, or a similar parts-related role, preferred Counter sales or inside sales experience, preferred Experience researching part numbers and technical diagrams, preferred Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to help people Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Comfortable learning technical products and manufacturer systems Proficiency with computers and common business software High school diploma or equivalent required What Makes Someone Successful in This Role The right person is someone who: Enjoys helping customers and takes pride in providing outstanding service Doesn't stop until they find the right solution Is dependable, positive, and willing to jump in wherever needed Thrives on solving problems and learning new things Builds trust through responsiveness, accuracy, and follow-through Understands that great customer service means going the extra mile Benefits/Perks Competitive base pay and discretionary bonus programs Medical insurance with company contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA) Dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Company-paid life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D), and long-term disability insurance Paid Time Off Paid holidays Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Stable, family-oriented work environment Physical Requirements To perform the essential functions of this position, the employee must be able to do the following, with or without reasonable accommodation: Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday; occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs Frequently use a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other standard office equipment Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 100 pounds occasionally with the assistance of lift equipment as needed Read printed materials and computer screens and distinguish part numbers, labels, and product information Work in both office and warehouse environments Mechanical Sales, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Pay:
