They are a 2nd generation family owned business with a great culture! M-F work schedule from 7:30 to 5PM. Compensation range between $28 - 32hr, / annualizing $70-80k/year depending on experience level and hours worked. At Ahearn Equipment, our mission is family, quality, and value — delivered one customer at a time. We're looking for a motivated Parts Department Associate to join our growing Hudson branch. This role is focused on delivering excellent customer service, followed by inventory management, receiving, and building our online sales presence. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and eager to help us grow, we'd like to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Serve retail customers through face-to-face interaction, email, texting, and phone calls/voicemail. Utilize multiple parts software platforms & resources to locate the correct equipment parts. Interact directly with our host of vendors to solve customers' replacement parts needs. Process regular and expedited customer orders through our DBS. Process dropship orders directly from vendor to customers and receive parts on those open PO's. Restock shelves with incoming stock orders. Block & face shelving. Perform inventory cycle counts and annual or biannual full inventory (outside of normal business hours). List and maintain special targeted craigslist and marketplace adds for local area market. Properly understand and build hydraulic hose assemblies per customer order while they wait or via drop off and pick up. Rotate shelf stock of parts and process scheduled returns of parts based on data miner info. Rotate parts items in showroom to align with proper season offerings. Critical and creative thinking to help the department overcome new challenges. Complete annual training(s) to improve knowledge to support the department. Keep an organized workstation. Routine maintenance and cleaning of department. Pull parts from outdoor storage areas as required when lot manager is unavailable & load into customer Delivery of parts to a customer address or worksite as required. Support other department roles when primary personnel are out of the office. Securely handle credit card info and cash, including count of cash drawer at EOD. Listing and maintenance of social media platforms to sell targeted items. Contact over the counter customers when a part order is complete and ready for pick up. Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Able to type 40wpm Able to lift items between 50-1001bs Valid driver's license Able to navigate Outlook and Excel Able to use web-based DBS and vendor M 5yrs minimum work in a parts department Able to understand and calculate profit ry with only net/cost pricing Able to communicate with customers and members clearly and effectively via phone text, and chat Strong ability to multi-task Adaptability to work through challenges wi- departments to solve tasks Basic mechanical equipment knowledge t understand customers' needs Ability to quickly identify the urgency of a s Customer engaging personality What We Offer
