Job Description
Overview Joe's Equipment Service Inc., located in West Lebanon NH, a leader in the outdoor power equipment business is actively hiring for seasonal positions. The Sales & Parts position is responsible for providing high-quality customer service by supporting the sale of outdoor power equipment, parts, and accessories. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, assisting with product selection, parts identification and order processing. The position supports day-to-day sales operations while helping ensure accurate inventory management and timely fulfillment of customer and service needs. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and via email with sales and parts inquiries. Assist customers in selecting the right parts, accessories, or tools by leveraging product knowledge and inventory information. Identify, locate, and recommend appropriate equipment, replacement parts, and accessories. Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with professionalism. Receive, stock, and organize parts and equipment; assist with inventory control and cycle counts. Maintain a clean, organized workspace ensuring safety standards are met and that the sales floor is inviting for customers. Build positive relationships with new and existing customers by providing knowledgeable and reliable service. Remain current on product knowledge and industry trends. Support seasonal sales initiatives and promotions. Perform basic administrative tasks related to sales and inventory. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Prior experience in retail sales, parts sales, or equipment service environment preferred. Experience with outdoor power equipment a plus. Proven Skills Customer service and sales support. Basic computer skills, including point-of-sale and inventory systems. Demonstrated Skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Strong attention to accuracy and follow-through. Willingness to learn product lines and parts systems.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is performed in a showroom, parts counter, and warehouse environment. Regular interaction with customers and service staff. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, and lift or move parts and equipment weighing up to approximately 20 pounds. Must wear appropriate safety gear at all times.
