We're looking for a dependable Lumber Yard Man / Driver to help us keep our operations running smoothly and our customers happy. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lumber Desk Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the central point of contact for all customer inquiries related to lumber, building materials, and renovation projects. Assist customers with selecting lumber, renovation supplies, and construction materials (Decking, Doors, Molding, etc.) providing detailed product information and recommendations Manage inside sales transactions using POS systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and retail math calculations Provide product demos and educate customers on product features, maintenance tips, and installation processes Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for stock Qualifications- We will train the right person! Experience in retail sales or inside sales within the construction or remodeling industry Strong knowledge of lumber products, renovation techniques, and construction materials Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining customer trust Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Basic math skills for retail math calculations, cash handling, and pricing accuracy Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations including cashiering and inventory management

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
