In this energetic role, you will be the go-to expert for customers seeking specialized automotive parts and accessories to enhance their off-road and performance vehicles. Your enthusiasm, technical knowledge, and exceptional customer service skills will help customers find the perfect upgrades to elevate their driving experience. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to grow within the automotive retail industry, working with a team that shares your love for all things automotive. Duties Assist customers in selecting off-road and performance automotive parts, providing expert advice on compatibility and installation. Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions. Manage inventory control and stock levels to ensure the availability of popular parts and accessories. Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, handle cash and card payments, and maintain proper cash handling procedures. Engage in upselling and negotiation to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of sales, inventory, and order fulfillment using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Microsoft Excel. Support vehicle maintenance and automotive repair services by coordinating parts orders and scheduling maintenance appointments. Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication, phone etiquette, and personalized assistance. Assist with marketing efforts by promoting new products, special offers, and upcoming events to boost retail sales. Ensure the showroom is well-stocked, organized, and clean, adhering to safety standards at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales within an automotive dealership or aftermarket parts environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair processes. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Familiarity with inventory management systems, POS software, CMMS, and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable. Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control and order fulfillment. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive customer relationships. Previous dealership experience or retail math proficiency is advantageous. Strong work ethic with excellent phone etiquette, customer service orientation, and teamwork skills.
