Job Description

Gorman Enterprises is currently seeking an experienced parts administrator. We are a family owned and operated business that has been selling and servicing specialty vehicles throughout New York State since 1981. What's in it for you? Competitive salary based on experience and skills Health, vision, dental, and life insurance 401K Training What will be your duties? Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm office hours. Receive parts orders over-the-counter, by phone, and by email. Order parts from various vendors at the best possible pricing and turnaround times. Work with in-house service department and supply parts for multiple jobs on a daily basis. Organize and maintain ~$1M parts inventory with accuracy. Coordinate and prepare shipping and receiving of parts. Develop marketing strategies to increase sales.
The right candidate will have:
Must be detail oriented, organized, and demonstrate accuracy. Must have parts department experience. Must have effective verbal and written communication skills. Must be mature and professional. Fundamental automotive knowledge is preferred. Must be able to troubleshoot and source hard-to-find parts. Must be able to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.' '
