Duties Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct auto parts and accessories, providing expert advice on automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance needs Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting regular stock checks, and utilizing inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to ensure product availability Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit card payments, and cashiering responsibilities with professionalism Collaborate with the sales team to promote automotive service offerings and aftermarket products through effective marketing strategies Maintain organized work areas by stocking parts efficiently, managing order fulfillment, and ensuring a clean retail environment Communicate clearly with customers via phone etiquette to answer inquiries, provide technical support, and schedule appointments when necessary Support dealership or retail sales goals by leveraging negotiation skills to upsell products and enhance customer satisfaction Skills Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service procedures Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities to serve diverse customer bases effectively Proficiency with inventory management software like CMMS and Microsoft Excel for tracking stock levels and analyzing sales data Experience with POS systems, retail math, and order fulfillment processes to ensure accurate transactions and inventory accuracy Demonstrated organizational skills for stocking, inventory control, and maintaining a tidy workspace Ability to negotiate effectively with customers to meet their needs while achieving sales targets Familiarity with dealership experience or retail sales environments enhances your ability to succeed in this role Embark on a rewarding career where your automotive knowledge meets exceptional customer service!
