Job Description

Location Lindley, NY (On-Site) Candidates must be within a reasonable driving distance. This is an in-office role. About Us Mathews Machinery Solutions LLC is a growing service company specializing in CNC grinding machine repair and support. We work with high-end equipment and demanding customers who rely on us to keep their machines running. Our team is experienced, responsive, and focused on delivering real results in the field. Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and accountable Parts Specialist to take full ownership of sourcing, quoting, procurement, and shipping of parts that support our field service operations. This role directly supports customers operating CNC grinding equipment, as well as our field service engineers working on-site at customer facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring the right parts are sourced, priced correctly, and delivered on time to support machine uptime and service execution. This is a critical, high-impact role that directly affects customer satisfaction, service efficiency, and company profitability. Key Responsibilities
  • Source parts from domestic and international suppliers
  • Prepare accurate and timely customer quotes
  • Apply proper pricing to maintain margins
  • Issue and manage purchase orders
  • Coordinate parts with field service engineers and job schedules
  • Manage shipping logistics, including imports and documentation
  • Ensure on-time delivery of parts to customer sites and technicians
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or parts management (required)
  • Experience with ERP and/or inventory management systems (strongly preferred)
  • Prior experience working with CNC equipment or in a machine tool environment is a plus, but not required
  • Experience working in a technical, industrial, or equipment-related environment preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude or the ability to understand technical parts breakdowns is highly valued
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High level of accountability and ownership What Sets This Role Apart This is not a clerical or administrative position.
