Parts Counter Sales

Position Summary Responsible for selling, receiving, and delivering parts and accessories in a fast-paced parts counter environment. This role requires prior parts counter experience, including direct customer interaction, accurate parts lookup, and inventory handling. Provides in-store customer service, supports service technicians with timely parts fulfillment, and contributes to overall organizational growth through product knowledge and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Utilize parts counter experience to promote and sell products and services that meet customer and equipment needs Accurately identify, source, and supply parts to Service Technicians to minimize downtime Provide exceptional walk-in and phone-based customer service at the parts counter Assist with merchandising, displays, and showroom organization to drive sales Receive and verify incoming shipments; properly stock inventory and manage Machine Down and Stock Orders Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department Proactively follow up on parts shortages and expedite orders by coordinating with management and vendors Ensure departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are maintained and in proper working condition Support team operations and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Previous parts counter experience required (agriculture, construction, automotive, or similar industry preferred) Strong working knowledge of parts lookup systems; experience with John Deere Parts Catalog or similar platforms preferred Basic data entry and computer skills with attention to detail Solid understanding of machinery and equipment components Strong communication and customer service skills in a team-oriented environment Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
