You will assist fleet accounts, independent repair shops, and walk-in customers in finding the right components for commercial trailers. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of heavy-duty trailer systems, from suspensions to lighting, and thrives in a fast-paced retail and wholesale environment. Hourly plus commission.
What You Will Do Identify Parts:
Look up and source heavy-duty trailer parts using electronic catalogs, schematics, and technical manuals.
Customer Service:
Assist walk-in and phone customers with technical inquiries, order placement, and pricing.
Sales Growth:
Proactively follow up on quotes and identify cross-selling opportunities to increase order values.
Inventory Control:
Receive, unpack, and stock incoming inventory while maintaining an organized showroom and warehouse.
Order Processing:
Utilize our point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately create invoices, manage returns, and process payments.
Outside Sales Growth:
Spearhead regional outreach and satellite sales growth
What We Are Looking For Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in heavy-duty truck or trailer parts sales (preferred).
Technical Knowledge:
Strong familiarity with major trailer brands and component manufacturers (e.g., Meritor, Hendrickson, Bendix, Grote).
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to read technical diagrams.
Physical Ability:
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
License:
