Job Description

Job Summary:
Support customers and internal technicians by identifying equipment parts, preparing quotes, processing sales orders, and assisting with inventory and logistics activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate parts fulfillment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify, quote, and process equipment parts for customers and technicians Create receipts, as well as enter sales orders accurately and efficiently into the system. Respond to customer requests for invoice copies, proof of delivery, and related documentation Coordinate with vendors to place new orders, track existing orders, and resolve discrepancies or issues Perform daily shipping and receiving activities, including verifying shipments and organizing inventory. Deliver parts as needed to technicians or designated locations Support inventory management activities such as material handling tasks, such as unloading trucks, stocking, counting, and organization Report any unsafe conditions, near misses, or potential hazards immediately to supervision. Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education High school diploma or equivalent required Required Skills and Abilities Previous experience in a Parts/Inventory role Previous experience in Material Handling environment. Basic computer skills, including data entry and use of Microsoft Windows and email Individuals must be able to pass forklift certified testing. Strong verbal and written communication skills Good organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and self-motivate Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis. Please note that forklift tires will be required to be handled. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks. Team-oriented with a willingness to learn new systems. Please note that this is a Union Shop and the selected candidate for this role will be required to join UAW Local 12 thirty (30) days from their date of employment. The starting rate of pay is $25.50/hour and is scheduled for regular wage increases every 90-days during a four (4) year time frame until the top rate of pay is achieved which is currently $33.50 in the most recent contract scheduled to expire in September 2026. The Company shall not retain in its employ in the bargaining unit any non-member employee who fails to apply for membership per the current Agreement.
