Job Description

Interstate Truck and Trailer Repair (ITTR) is a locally owned and family-operated company dedicated to keeping commercial trucks, trailers, and equipment operating safely and efficiently. We take pride in delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services while fostering a team-oriented work environment built on integrity, collaboration, and exceptional customer service. Our commitment to excellence helps keep our customers moving and their businesses running successfully. Assist customers in identifying and sourcing heavy-duty parts to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Manage inventory control using computerized maintenance management systems to track stock levels and reorder parts as needed. Process parts requests for maintenance and repair work orders. Assist Technicians, Drivers, and customers in identifying and obtaining correct parts. Provide technical advice on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures to both customers and team members. Negotiate pricing, sales terms, and delivery schedules with customers and suppliers to maximize profitability. Maintain comprehensive records of sales transactions, inventory movements, and customer interactions. Support retail sales efforts through effective marketing strategies and excellent customer service skills. Handle cashiering duties, including cash handling, processing payments via POS systems, and balancing cash drawers at the end of the shift. Skills Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, and service procedures for heavy-duty vehicles. Excellent communication, and phone etiquette skills to engage effectively with customers and vendors. Proficiency in inventory management software; familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis. Exceptional organizational skills for stock control, order fulfillment, and record keeping in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
