Used Auto Parts Sales Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Used Auto Parts Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm for automotive parts and customer service will drive success! In this role, you will be the key link between customers and our extensive inventory of quality used auto parts. Your energetic approach and detailed knowledge will help customers find the right parts efficiently, ensuring a seamless shopping experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while working in a fast-paced automotive environment dedicated to sustainability and value. Starting pay can be adjusted based on experience. Responsibilities Assist customers in locating and selecting used auto parts through active engagement and product knowledge. Manage inventory control by stocking, organizing, and maintaining accurate records of auto parts using Hollander-PowerLink. Negotiate prices and terms with customers to close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction. Process transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash and card payments, and perform cashiering duties with professionalism. Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and storage area, ensuring all parts are properly labeled and accessible. Collaborate with the dealership's maintenance and repair teams to facilitate order fulfillment. Manage payroll, yearly meetings, licenses/permits, and purchasing of vehicles. Skills Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, to engage with customers professionally. Proven experience in retail sales, inventory management, and sales management strategies. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus (but not required) to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Familiarity with Hollander-PowerLink, Microsoft Excel and inventory control techniques. Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels, order fulfillment, and record keeping efficiently. Negotiation skills to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining positive customer relationships. Experience with dealership operations or automotive service environments is highly desirable. Extra attention will be given to a candidate that has verifiable experience with the Hollander-PowerLink inventory control system.
