Parts Specialist

Good Tech Center/Good Transport Services, Inc. is a leading provider of service and parts for the commercial trucking industry. We offer a full-service shop and parts department at our Columbia, PA location. Good Tech Center is a part of the Good Technik Group family of companies. The Parts Specialist position is a full-time role and will work on-site in Columbia, PA Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Primary Responsibilities:

The Parts Specialist is responsible for providing superior customer service throughout the parts sales experience, including handling counter sales, ordering and procuring parts and inventory, servicing both internal and external customers, and overseeing warehouse operations.

The primary responsibilities include:

Serve as an inside sales associate, including handling counter sales, as well as phone and email inquiries Respond to and follow up with customer's needs while providing outstanding customer service Ensure accurate and timely parts procurement, including ability to read diagrams and identify correct parts numbers, order parts within the customers specifications, and maintain appropriate communication with the customer on order status (availability, cost, etc.) Track and manage shipping and receiving of parts, including loading and unloading shipments Perform regular inventory cycle counts, and ensure inventory is accurately accounted for in internal software Facilitate and process warranty claims, product returns, and core returns with vendors, as well as handle claims for damaged or defective parts Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with all Good Technik Group locations (Columbia, Ephrata, Lancaster, and Beavertown) Maintain tidiness of store and warehouse, including stocked, organized, and labeled shelves, and updated displays. Assist with evaluating current processes and make recommendations for increased efficiency, accuracy, safety, and improvement All other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Previous experience in a parts sales environment (3+ years preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to positively interact with individuals across the business (vendors, customers, colleagues, etc.). Ability to collaborate and work effectively with others Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills and a strong attention to detail Strong computer skills & ability to utilize computer programs and software effectively Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment, and lift up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license and clean driving record High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

Forklift Certification Previous experience within the heavy-duty trucking industry Parts product knowledge or experience with inventory management

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.5 per week
