Friday Position Summary:
A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Parts Coordinator to support the Company's network of fleet maintenance facilities. This position is a fast paced, hands-on role that will directly support Technicians onsite and in the field. Parts Coordinators are responsible for processing, picking, and shipping (if required) all outgoing/incoming and special parts requests. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Receiving and appropriately acknowledging parts requests that may come in via e-mail, telephone, and direct communication from a team member or team leader Effectively communicating relevant, timely information to team members in support of keeping the fleet operational Accurately processing stock orders and parts requests Regularly performing audit counts to maintain accurate inventory Lifting and carrying parts to prepare for shipping Handling all shipping and receiving duties and appropriate paper work Placing orders for parts through established vendors via telephone and email Receiving used parts and cores returned from off-site locations in support of asset management and warranty processes Utilizing the company's Fleet Maintenance software to perform data entry, parts transfers, receipts, and queries Navigating OE manufacturer websites and programs to properly identify specific parts Maintaining a clean and organized parts warehouse environment To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following: Prior experience in shipping and receiving; High School Diploma Knowledge and background of heavy truck parts is strongly preferred Willing and able to pass forklift certification to safely operate a forklift Strong computer and data entry skills; MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) Strong communication skills - both verbal and written Ability to maintain a well organized work station while performing each task with high attention to detail Ability to operate within a safe and secure work environment — observing all safety and security procedures and utilizing equipment and materials properly For a full job description associated with this posting, please contact A.
