Job description:

Jack Giambalvo Family of Dealerships is now hiring a Collision Auto Parts Specialist at our recently renovated West York Collision Center! Ideal candidates will have auto parts experience, computer skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO

Assist estimators and technicians with ordering new, used and aftermarket parts for all makes and models. Parts acquisition may require extra searching If the part is not in stock or available aftermarket , i.e ebay, Amazon etc. Parts Receiving Inspect parts as they arrive for any damage or defect. Call vendors if damage or defect is discovered and follow their direction to resolve the issue. Parts Dispatching - Assist in getting parts dispatched to the assigned technician when the job arrives. Supplemental Parts needed - Assist estimators and technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process and expedite parts procurement to successfully finish repairs by expected completion date..

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Attention to detail is key. One year of experience in an automotive parts department (preferred). Professional personal appearance. Ability to work well with the public, sometimes with several technicians or vendors at a time. Will be required to wear a dealership-provided uniform. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Mr. Giambalvo's business philosophy when he went into business was that the Sales Department will sell the first vehicle and the Service Department will sell the second, third and fourth.
