Parts Representative

Parts SpecialistJob Summary:

The Parts Specialist will maintain the organization's ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with customers and vendors to order proper parts.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with customers and technicians.
• Accurately ships and receives parts per customer request.
• Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
• Operates forklift truck when necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Proficient computer/keyboarding skills.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift operator certification preferred.
• Prior experience within parts department preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Valid Driver's License with good standing MVR.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
• Must be able to navigate warehouse and reach items both high and low.
• Qualified candidate will be responsible for looking up parts, ordering parts, receiving parts etc.

on a daily basis. Person will also be responsible for answering phones, opening, and closing building.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$21.00 - $32.00 per hour
