Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Inventory Specialist to manage our parts inventory, allocate components to service orders for mechanics, and generate invoices based on received packing slips. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations between inventory management, service technicians, and our billing process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Fullbay
  • Receive, inspect, and verify parts against packing slips/purchase orders.
  • Allocate parts to specific service orders, ensuring mechanics/technicians have the necessary parts to complete jobs in a timely manner.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder parts to prevent shortages.
  • Generate invoices from receivd packing slips, ensuring accurate date, pricing, and part description.
  • Collaborating with accounting to ensure timely billing and any procurement discrepancies.
  • Maintain organized records of all transactions for auditing purposes.
  • Work closely with mechanic/technicians to prioritize parts allocation based on urgency.
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding backorders and/or discrepancies in shipments.
  • Provide regular inventory updates and reports to management and suggest improvements to process when/if necessary.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs daily
Qualifications:
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in an automotive or service-oriented environment.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office; Fullybay, or other inventory management software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team regularly.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus. Additional notes…
  • Pay is based on experience ($18.00 - $28.00)
