Inside Parts Job Description Job Summary:
The inside part sales coordinator position is responsible for appropriately responding to customer and outside salesmen requests via telephone or in person for parts sales. The ideal candidate is extremely organized and detail oriented. Familiarity with industrial parts and similar purchasing experience is desired. The ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines is necessary.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Intake information from customers or outside sales reps to provide quotes and invoices for equipment parts/components.
  • Research requested parts & components to ensure we are quoting and selling the correct products.
  • Follow up on quotes to ensure timely ordering, shipping, and invoicing.
  • Displays the consultation skills necessary to successfully represent and sell products to existing customers and prospects.
  • Responds to incoming calls from customers and prospects.
  • Communicates client expectations to various support departments for manufacturing parts when necessary.
  • Maintains customer files and system accuracy.
  • Exercises decision making ability to determine the best product and identification to meet the customer's need.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to maintain positive interactions with customers to provide support and enhance company's image and help sell products and service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization and documentation skills. Knowledge of company's and competitors' products; customers' and distributors' needs, along with regulations applicable to this industry Knowledge of company's manufacturing and fabrication capabilities and limitations Proficient using Microsoft office. Knowledge of fundamental workings of an MRP/ERP system Utilizes telephone skills and detailed knowledge of the product line, as well as knowledge of the market we serve. Positive attitude and a willingness to handle various responsibilities as needed.

$38,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
