Job Description

Job description: In addition to the Bedford territory, this position requires weekly travel to/from assigned territory.
Purpose:
Responsible for supporting the company's multifaceted sales goals through professional sales techniques and good customer service, all while maintaining quality relations with existing accounts, and developing new business
Responsibilities:
  • Represents the company for the aftermarket sales (parts and service) of industrial equipment currently existing or being delivered to customers in a defined sales area
  • Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment and services offered by the dealership
  • Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
  • Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
  • Knows and follows a defined sales process
  • Logs calls and uses CRM daily
  • Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of customer calls and sales
  • Conducts equipment field inspections
  • Monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management
  • Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
  • Maintain current knowledge of equipment values within the market affording the ability to evaluate properly for repair versus replace purposes
REQUIREMENTS
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
  • 1+ years sales experience
  • Knowledge of forklift operational practices preferred.
  • Ability to used standard desktop load applications, such as Microsoft Office, and internet functions
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
