Job Description
Role:
The Yard Parts Puller plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our yard by ensuring that all necessary parts are accurately retrieved and prepared for customer orders. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, pulling, and organizing parts from our extensive inventory, ensuring that all items are in good condition and ready for shipment. Additionally, the Yard Parts Puller will collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. Ultimately, this role is vital in supporting our commitment to providing high-quality service and timely delivery to our customers.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role.Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with automotive parts and their specifications. Previous automotive experience. Experience using inventory management software.Responsibilities:
Accurately identify and pull parts from inventory based on customer orders. Inspect parts for quality and ensure they are in good condition before packaging. Organize and maintain the yard to ensure easy access to parts and efficient workflow. Collaborate with team members to improve inventory management and retrieval processes. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and report discrepancies as needed.Skills:
The required skills for this position include strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, which are essential for accurately pulling parts and maintaining inventory. Effective communication skills are also important, as the Yard Parts Puller will need to collaborate with team members and provide updates on inventory status.
