Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Parts Runner to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently sourcing, retrieving, and delivering HVAC parts and supplies to ensure smooth operations across our service and manufacturing facilities. Your proactive approach will help maintain optimal inventory levels, support automotive diagnostics and repair processes, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your logistical skills and mechanical knowledge will make a tangible impact every day. Duties Safely navigate warehouse or dealership environments to pick up and deliver HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies promptly. Manage inventory control by accurately tracking parts movement using order management systems and ERP software such as AS400 or similar platforms. Coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers to source OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Assist with shipping & receiving activities, including verifying shipments, updating inventory records, and ensuring proper storage of HVAC components. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to handle heavy or bulky items while adhering to safety regulations. Support demand planning and pricing strategies by providing real-time data on inventory levels and supply chain status. Collaborate with automotive service teams, dealership staff, or manufacturing personnel to fulfill urgent parts requests efficiently. Skills Strong knowledge of supply chain management, procurement processes, and supplier management principles. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, HVAC systems, auto body repair, and equipment repair. Experience in warehouse management, inventory management, shipping & receiving, and logistics operations. Proficiency in using ERP systems like AS400 or similar order management software; data entry accuracy is essential. Valid forklift certification along with the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely. Excellent negotiation skills for sourcing parts at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers. Familiarity with dealership experience, OEM parts sourcing, demand planning, procurement management, and sourcing strategies.
