RETAIL PARTS SALES

Job Description:

Cycle World in Virginia Beach, Va. is looking for enthusiastic people to help our customers build their dream bike! A great candidate will have a positive personality and love working with people in order to understand their needs and help them get what would be best for them. While past parts experience is a plus, its not a requirement and we would provide training for the right candidate. Work directly with customers:

Greet customers promptly, in a courteous and friendly manner. Develop and share knowledge of all parts and accessories merchandise, parts history and motorcycle services. Must possess multitasking skills while maintain individual customer satisfaction. Handle telephone transaction quickly and courteously. Inform customers of current sales on merchandise and special events happening in the dealership. Successful sales associates will seek every reasonable opportunity to make the most of every selling opportunity. UPselling is an art that must be mastered by the salesperson! Maintain a clean and efficient environment. Assist in organizing stock room and replenishing stock parts in correct locations. Create floor displays. Participate in cycle counts and year end inventory. Ensure merchandise displays are stocked , clean and appealing to customers. Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for parts and accessories. A good parts associate will be punctual without excessive absences. Sales associates will make sure the showroom area is clean, free of clutter, and all displays are neat and fully stocked. Parts employees are to insure that the stockroom is kept neat and orderly at all times. Sales associates will learn and utilize the sales fundamentals with every customer transaction and will operate within the guidelines of the Parts Department daily processes and procedures. Must be able to handle all methods of payments. Must assist the receiver in putting away stock whenever customer traffic permits. Notify customers of special order arrival in a prompt and timely manner by phone utilizing the special order notification script when necessary May be required to perform other duties as needed by the Parts Manager or General Manager.
