Key responsibilities include:
Customer Assistance:
Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email. Identify and recommend the correct parts and accessories for customers and technicians. Process parts orders and ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate stock levels and notify management of reorder needs. Receive and stock incoming parts shipments in designated areas. Perform regular inventory checks and audits to ensure accuracy.
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with service technicians to provide parts needed for repairs and maintenance. Assist with pulling and staging parts for work orders. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to track and expedite special orders.
Documentation and Compliance:
Process invoices, returns, and warranty claims accurately. Adhere to dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
Customer Experience:
Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor. Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience as a parts counterperson or in a related automotive role preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components. Proficiency with parts inventory and dealership management software (e.g., CDK/ADP). Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean record.
