Job Description

Job Overview Serve retail customers, provide parts lookup, process and receive parts orders, handle cash transactions, handle customer phone orders, support technicians with parts research, manage parts department operations, return parts, process shipping, maintain inventory accuracy, ensure timely parts turnaround, and perform inventory tasks.
Duties Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of parts in stock, track stock levels, and perform regular audits to prevent loss or shortages.
Procurement & Ordering:
Source parts from vendors, place seasonal parts orders, and reorders when stock is low.
Customer & Technician Support:
Assist customers and service technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts, providing technical information, and recommending related repair items.
Receiving & Shipping:
Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities, and ship parts to customers or service locations promptly.
Returns & Warranty Handling:
Manage returns of defective parts, process exchanges, and handle warranty claims.
Organization & Display:
Organize storefront displays, keep the parts room and your work area clean and organized.
Sales & Documentation:
Perform sales, transactions, inventory changes in company systems, maintain accurate paperwork, adhere to budgets, ensure timely parts turnaround, and maintain prompt parts flow to technicians & customers. Skills Strong organizational and record keeping skills. Knowledge of mechanical or technical terms relevant to the industry. Ability to read and use parts catalogs and inventory systems. Customer service and communication skills. Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus. Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
