Job Description

Join Our Team We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our growing dealership team. The ideal candidate enjoys providing excellent customer service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in accuracy and organization. As a Parts Advisor, you will serve as a key link between our service department, retail customers, and wholesale accounts, ensuring the right parts are delivered to the right place at the right time. Responsibilities Fulfill parts requests from our repair shop technicians and service advisors. Verify accuracy of parts requests and ensure correct parts are supplied. Assist retail customers purchasing parts over the counter. Answer incoming phone calls from customers, repair facilities, and other businesses seeking GM parts. Research parts availability, pricing, and compatibility. Check in daily freight shipments and verify received inventory. Stock and organize incoming parts inventory. Perform weekly bin counts and assist with inventory control processes. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department. Work closely with service personnel to support efficient vehicle repairs. Qualifications Previous automotive parts experience preferred. GM parts experience is a plus but not required. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software systems. Ability to lift and move parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
