JOB DUTIES
Answer incoming phone calls and respond to on-site visits by parts and service customers. Call customers back and update customers on schedule daily.
  • Maintain documents for special parts orders, including requests from customers and parts needed for work orders. Communicate with customer when special parts are received.
  • Compare parts invoices against purchase orders to verify quality pricing and quantity of merchandise when received.
  • Return parts received in error.
  • Receive parts into computer system after verification on daily basis.
  • Store purchased parts in storeroom bins and issues parts to workers upon request.
  • Keeps records of parts received and issued, and inventories parts in storeroom periodically.
  • Perform cycle counts and organize parts shelves, as needed.
  • Process retail parts sales as needed.
  • Schedule customer reservations and delivery (internal work). Schedule technicians.
  • Go out to customers unit to review repairs with customer. Inspect any damage on unit and note damage to eliminate customer accusing company of causing such damage.
  • Cosmetic repairs are to be marked with tape to ensure the technician finds the items in need of repair.
  • Determine the most efficient technician for the scheduled job.
  • It is mandatory that any unit being moved with the fork lift is accompanied with a spotter.
  • Work with warranty personnel for prior authorization for work needed. Gets prior authorization for payment for extended warranty.
  • Estimate time and parts needed based on visual inspection of RV and familiarity with standard parts, costs, and labor rates.
  • Examines incoming service vehicles for dents, scratches, broken glass, and other areas requiring repair, replacement, or repainting.
  • Determines feasibility of repair or replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders, and doors, according to familiarity with relative costs and extent of damage.
  • Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer.
Notifies customer with information via email or phone.
PAY:
$20.00-$27.00 per hour
