Going forward we will continue to support our customers with the equipment and service they have come to expect since 1901 As Parts and Service Lead for Feenaughty Machinery, your primary responsibilities will be the oversight of both the inventory/procurement of parts and the service department's repair operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Key duties include managing inventory levels, forecasting demand, supervising staff, enhancing repair workflows, and driving sales.
Parts Department Management:
Responsible for ordering, checking in, labeling, and organizing parts inventory to prevent downtime.
Inventory Control:
Tracking inventory levels, managing obsolete parts, and ensuring accurate records.
Service Operations:
Supervising service personnel, scheduling work orders, and maintaining the efficiency of the service area.
Customer Experience:
Resolving customer complaints quickly, providing accurate repair estimates, Working with customers professionally in person and over the phone.
Team Leadership:
Motivating technicians and working closely with Sales staff as well as other locations team members to drive efficiently and customer service.
Vendor Relations:
Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers to secure the best pricing and availability.
Shipping & Receiving:
Load and Unload trucks and goods as needed in partnership with Sales and Service Staff.
Requirements and Qualifications Experience:
Proven experience in a dealership or commercial repair setting as a technician, service advisor, or parts counter person.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with inventory management software, heavy equipment systems, and repair processes.
Communication:
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, staff, and management effectively. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50-lbs (Sometimes More) Consistent Bending, Squatting, Kneeling and Reaching Walk and carry items over 100ft Ability to work in both indoor and warehouse/shop conditions Often required to safely operate machinery and company vehicles Frequent typing, scanning, and handling small parts. Standing and Walking for extended periods of time.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
