Overview of Position:
Heiser Automotive Group is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our team. In this role, you will be a key resource for customers and internal departments by helping identify the right parts, providing accurate information and pricing, and supporting efficient day-to-day parts operations. We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and motivated to succeed in a fast-paced dealership environment. What We Offer Competitive pay Training and career growth opportunities Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) with company match Employee discounts on vehicles, parts, and services A positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and online Help customers and team members identify the correct parts and accessories for their needs Provide pricing, product details, availability, and order status updates Process parts sales and support inventory management and stock organization Locate and source parts from available inventory and outside vendors when needed Order parts accurately and in a timely manner Partner with the service department to ensure prompt delivery of parts for repairs Communicate price quotes, shipment updates, and special-order information clearly and professionally Support the parts department with additional duties as needed Requirements High school diploma or GED equivalent At least 1 year of relevant experience Previous parts or service experience preferred Automotive knowledge preferred Strong knowledge of automotive parts is a plus Ability to lift parts and supplies up to 50 pounds Valid, clean Wisconsin driver's license Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn, take direction, and adapt in a fast-paced environment We participate in E-Verify.
