Job Summary:
The primary role entails overseeing the management of mortgage interest rate locks, implementing pricing strategies, and providing outstanding customer service to both corporate clients and retail Sales staff. This position will require close collaboration with all facets of the company and our valued business partners.Responsibilities:
1. Assist loan officers and branch managers in executing mandatory rate locks received on a daily basis. 2. Efficiently manage relocks, extensions, and product adjustments on behalf of the sales team while maintaining clear communication with operations staff. 3. Track and monitor lock expiration dates closely. 4. Ensure locks are cancelled if a deal falls through or is withdrawn. 5.Ensure data integrity:
check for duplicate locks, inconsistencies, errors in inputs. 6. Coordinate with investor counterparties (or correspondent lenders) to confirm the lock, clarify investor requirements, or address discrepancies. 7. Create, maintain and administer internal pricing / rate sheets to support pricing strategies.Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lock Desk Coordinator and Analyst is required . Previous employers may be contacted for verification. 2. Prior experience with EPPS (Encompass Product & Pricing Service)- 1 year is mandatory, while 2 years is preferred.
Additional Information:
- The position is scheduled from Monday to Friday.
- Working hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm PST.
- This would be a remote position and if you are selected you would be flown to LA for a week of training.
Compensation:
- $50,000 to $75,000/ Year based upon experience.
- After first 90 Days, hedging bonuses will be available on your contract review.
